Hello, folks! I'm back from Japan!
I usually don't suffer from jet lags but this time when I returned, my body just didn't want to move much. Maybe it's because of all the walking I had to do during the trip.. As I wanted to, I took lots of Polaroid pictures there.. you'll see them on Flickr soon. I was surprised at how readily available Polaroid 600 and Spectra films were. I didn't buy any there because they were more expensive than what I pay here but they were available at every major camera store I visited, even at a store in a train station. Wow..
One of the things I really wanted to do in Tokyo was shopping. A lot. But that didn't happen because of my wallet situation, and I was just so exhausted by the end of the trip (Tokyo was our final destination in Japan). But I did get to visit Tokyu Hands in Shinjuku and do some quick shopping. There I found what I really really wanted to buy in Japan, these cute VersaCraft stamp pads called Soramame:
They are produced by the author of the two stamping books I have, and each pad fits right in your finger. Happy.
And more square ink pads + alphabet stamps.
I think I annoyed the girl shopping next to me in the same section because I was in a hurry (had limited time there) and was just grabbing whatever pretty colors I found and tossing them into my basket. Oh the surprise I got at the cash register. T_T Well, next time, if there is one, I will spend more leisurely time there and also check out the stationery section too.
Anyway, I'm very excited about these new craft toys.. Hopefully, I can make some holiday gifts with them.. handmade gifts! Are you all done with Christmas shopping? I am waaaay behind. Things have changed while I was gone, I see. Gas prices have gone down, and it's Christmas already! I missed Thanksgiving while I was away, so things seem a little surreal to me, still, heh.
Happy Holidays~ And don't forget my Etsy store sale is still going on. :)

I LOVE that alphabet stamp set! I've been searching for something like that for a long time but can never find a decent one that isn't a typewriter font.
Yeah, me too! I was looking for sans-serif font and found these all the way there.. I found a similar set long ago at the MOMA online store but I don't see it there anymore. T_T Good luck with your search and thanks for stopping by!
